Merry Christmas
I went to Guernsey for a couple days before Christmas and we drove up to Gillette to pick up mom. We then spent a couple days hanging out in Guernsey at Amy's house which was pretty fun and relaxing. It was nice to hang out with my family since we don't really get to see each other a lot. The weather has been pretty terrible around Laramie with a lot of snow and wind so I didn't even think I was going to be able to leave. But on the way home I-25 was too hazardous so I took the alternate longer route home. Which turned out to be probably worse than the interstate, there were portions of the highway that had so much snow and ice I didn't think I was going to make it home. Then I-80 to Laramie was equally horrible with a blizzard and ice. I drove 30 mph all the way home- I honestly thought I was going to be rear ended by a semi truck who didn't think he needed to slow down! Yikes. But in the end I got home safely and had a wonderful Christmas with Gary's family. Now my Dad is visiting from Alaska which is always nice. Good times!
Winter Wonderland

Today it started snowing around 8 a.m. and hasn't stopped yet! I haven't seen this much snowing the entire time I've been in college and I must say it's amazing and I'm soooo excited. I'm only a little worried about traveling to Gillette on Friday to get my mom for Christmas, but I'm sure it will all work out. But here are some pictures of our winter wonderland fantasy. There is a picture of my car being buried by the mountain of snow, and then a picture of me being buried in the snow, and also one of me and Gary. The huge blow up snowmen are only two of the four sets surrounding our house. The boys thought it would be fun to put them up.
The Babies!

Well, the babies had their appointment on Friday and Aidan weighs 14.9 lbs. and Layla weighs in at 13.3 lbs. They are getting quite big and are pretty much caught up to normal babies that weren't premature. They have also been started on baby cereal and don't like it very much but are getting much better. They have already opened all their Christmas presents and are very spoiled babies, but we all knew they would be. The top picture is both of the twins showing how big they are growing. The middle picture is of Aidan intently watching football with daddy, Kendall. And the last one is precious Layla laughing at Gary being silly and wearing his baseball hat. Aren't they adorable?
Merry Christmas!
I have been soooo excited for Christmas this year. Even though I thought we wouldn't be able to afford presents for anyone, but everything has worked out in our favor and I have gotten great gifts for people! That is absolutely my most favorite part of Christmas- getting everyone presents and seeing how excited they are when they open them.At our house, we've already cheated a little and opened a couple of gifts. We had to though, the presents were overflowing from under the tree and it was a little crazy!!! But Gary and Kendall each got me and Cindy Pirates of the Caribbean 2 so I was stoked. I also got a pink USB storage drive that Kendall and Cindy got me with my name on it! It is pretty sweet! Gary got a golf hat pin thing which I'm sure what it's for but he wanted it so... as well as personalized golf balls with Billy Bob on them. Our roommates definetly got us some great gifts and I can't wait to open the rest of them. ONLY 11 more days! Woo hooo! It is also finals week and I have my last one in the morning which I can't wait for it to be over. I got a 98% on my marketing final on Monday so I guess the week started off well. I don't know about my calc final- it was the hardest exam I have EVER taken in my life. I just pray I passed. But other than finals, nothing much has been going on. The twins get to start eating cereal tomorrow which is exciting and I can't wait to see how they react to it. They are growing sooo much and I will update again after their doctor's appointment.
